Happy New Year

It's 2011 and Baltimore is actually starting to warm-up a little. This last year has been both an exciting and challenging time for me. Moving to Baltimore, becoming engaged, starting my business, house searching, and wedding planning have all been very exciting. Bell's Palsy, multiple car incidents, and adjusting to Baltimore have made it challenging.

Successes of this year:
  • My personal project on Baltimore Entrepreneurs helped me grow technically, meet other business people, and allowed me to experience their triumphs and failures.
  • Three new clients who have been great to work with.
  • Joining networking groups and meeting other creative professionals.
Challenges for next year:
  • Diversify my work and clients with advertising, commercial and portrait work.
  • Continue my personal projects.
  • Improve and grow technically.

I can't remember a year where I've grown so much personally and professionally that I'm truly thankful to be a part of the "real world" now. Thank you to everybody who has helped me this year.

As much as I dislike snow, Baltimore is absolutely beautiful snow-covered. Happy New Years!
